Twice per year, bridal gown designers from all over the world show their newest collections at New York Bridal Fashion Week. It's absolutely one of the most fun parts of my job and such an honor to attend these fantastic shows and presentations. From architectural structure to lace ballgowns and everything in between, here are a few of my favorites from the Spring 2019 bridal collections! Apologies for the iPhone photos!

Although I wasn't able to attend this year, I definitely spent my fair share of time stalking all of the amazing shoes at New York Bridal Fashion Week! From delicate flutter sleeves and intricate beading to sheer fabrics and elegant long sleeves, NYBFW definitely did not disappoint!

This design collaboration with Charla Storey Photography brought together soft shades of blues, blush and grey timeless romance. Just an hour and a half outside of Dallas, The Trinity Institute created the perfect backdrop for our vision.
Amongst beautiful arched windows of the deserted university, an elegant table was draped in layers of linen and topped with romantic blooms created by The Southern Table. Our gorgeous bride wore an elegantly unique gown by Yolan Cris paired with a vintage engagement ring from Trumpet & Horn. Soft curls and delicate make up by Tracy Melton Artistry gave her the perfect glow. Staying away from traditional greys and navy, our groom was outfitted in a bold blue suit from Asos complimented with a playful bow tie.
The custom paper goods suite by Feast Fine Art & Calligraphy included hand painted watercolor details and organic calligraphy in shades of blue and blush, topped off with a bronze wax seal.

Did someone say "modern bride"?! Loved every minute of the Houghton presentation during New York Bridal Fashion week. Fringe, fur, boho prints and of course a bulldog!
One of my favorite appointments at bridal market last week was getting to spend time with Rebecca Schoneveld at Thea of Hushed Commotion! These two lovely ladies set up a beautiful space at The Hotel on Rivington in the Lower East Side full of amazing natural light. We played dress up with Rebecca's gorgeous gowns (and bridal leather jackets!) and accessorized with the perfect Hushed Commotion pieces. One of our favorite looks was the simple slip dress with beaded kimono topped with a stunning bridal turban. Can you say afternoon well spent?! All photos by Michelle Boyd!
Oh Inbal Dror, how you have my heart! I have had the opportunity to work with these amazing gowns in person and attending the show in New York was breathtaking! Each piece is intricately created with stunning fabrics, delicate textures, and show-stopping details. All photos by Michelle Boyd!
Get ready for an overload of pretty!! New York Bridal Fashion Week was amazing and now that I'm finally back in front of my computer, it's time to share all the gorgeous gowns we saw! First up, a stunning collection from Angel Sanchez full of modern silhouettes, illusion paneling and laser cut detailing. All photos by my partner in crime for the week, Michelle Boyd!
This organic summer bridal session with Matt & Julie Weddings was featured on Style Me Pretty earlier this month! A sexy two-piece bridal gown from Theia (crop tops + capes are my new favorite combo!) was paired with a lush and overflowing bouquet created by Andi of Bows & Arrows. Beauty wizard Tracy Melton topped off the look with a modern French braid and the final touch was an exquisite ring from Nan Lee Jewelry.
So excited to see these Old World Bridal Portraits featured on Magnolia Rouge last week! This stunning gown by Divine Atelier had an incredible drape and texture along with exquisite detailing and a beautiful open back. Seriously, this fabric is the stuff dreams are made of!

Choosing a short wedding dress doesn't mean it won't have the drama or "wow" factor of a traditional gown. These 10 Short & Sweet wedding gowns are full of intricate lace, elegant details, and plenty of straight-from-the-runway goodness!
