Thanksgiving Cocktail: Autumn Spice Sangria
Happy Thanksgiving Eve, y'all! It's time for last minute trips to the grocery store and final preparations for family and friends. This Autumn Spice Sangria recipe is one of my favorites and perfect for a last minute Thanksgiving cocktail. Simple, delicious and full of Fall flavor, see the full recipe below!
AUTUMN SPICE SANGRIA:
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle Cabernet Sauvignon (or any fruity red wine)
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup cognac
- 3 honey crisp apples, sliced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 tbsp whole cloves
- Prosecco or sparkling wine to garnish
Directions:
1. In a tall pitcher, add all ingredients but the Prosecco. Mix and refrigerate overnight.
2. Pour sangria in glasses filled with ice. Top with Prosecco and sliced apples.

Simple & Elegant Thanksgiving Inspiration
Thanksgiving is almost here and it's time to start dreamy up the perfect (and simple!) tablescape design for friends and family. I had so much fun partnering with Danielle Sabol and Whit + Wonder to create this festive holiday table in hues of deep red and dark grey with gorgeous copper accents.
We brought in textured greenery found at the local super market and paired them with copper painted eucalyptus and thistle to create a garland for our tabletop. Matte grey plates were highlighted with copper flatware (Target! Who knew?) for an affordable place setting, accented with simple "Thankful" place cards. Serve up cozy recipes like a bourbon pecan pie and apple spice sangria. Enjoy!
